Just changed my activity level, how does this affect things?
I just changed my activity level from sedentary to lightly active. I walk around a lot at work so I thought that would be the right thing to do. How does this affect my calories?? BMR 1200 TDEE 1500 at sedentary and 1650 at lightly active. The TDEE I noted does not include extra exercise I log on MFP. I aim to NET at 1200…

Is it really that bad to eat half an hour before exercise?
My schedule is tight, I get home from work, I'm hungry, so I eat dinner and then I have my les mills class half an hour after I eat. Is this really bad to do? I hate exercising when I'm hungry because it's hard to focus. Is it okay to keep eating dinner half an hour before a vigorous work out? I know I could instread have…

Can I do cardio in my "bulking" phase
I put "bulking" in quotations as I obviously don't have plans to be a body builder but do want to gain some good muscle. At the moment I do les mills classes 5 times I week, love them. I'm still trying to cut but once I'm down to my ideal Bf% I am going to start eating at maintenance level and then at a small surplus while…

Once you reach your fat loss goals, then what?
I'm not there yet, but I'm close. I'm wondering how I need to adjust my program once I'm down to my goal body fat percentage. My bmr is 1200 and tdee is 1500 (with no exercise) so whether I exercise or not, I always aim to net at 1200. Once I'm down to my goal, do I aim to net at 1500 calories to maintain? As for exercise…

Is a HRM Accurate during body pump
My heart rate monitor says I only burn 150-200 calories during pump (granted I am only 5 foot weighing in at 49kg) so I'm just wondering if this is accurate or not. I know heart rate monitors are mostly accurate during cardio/aerobic exercise so if my hrm tells me my burn during pump, can I expect it to be underestimated?

What's a good body fat percentage to aim for for a woman
I started at 24%, am currently 20% and am wondering what's good to aim for? I figured body builders sit at 5-10% so thought 15% would be realistic and a good goal? My goal is to have as little body fat as possible, I want to be fit and "toned". Do I need to perhaps aim for lower than 15? My problem area is my stomach, I'd…

Essential weight lifting exercises for a full body work out?
What are your essential weight lifting exercises for a full body work out? I am wanting to make a full body work out routine but also hoping to make it as short as possible. incorporating Body Pump with a weight lifting routine?
So I am aware that you shouldn't work the same muscles two consecutive days in a row, so I am wondering how I can incorporate Pump with a regular weight lifting routine. Pump being a full body work out, whether it is a day after or before a regular weight lifting session, would be working some of the same muscles two days…
