My body can't tolerate bad food anymore! How about you?
I used to have really bad eating habits, including take away at least 3 nights a week. Well I've been eating so well for about a month and a half now, including a cheat meal about once a week. These cheat meals haven't been particularly bad until last night... We ordered pizza and I quite happily ate it, followed by ice…

Fitbit adjustment is wrong! Please help?
So my fitbit calorie adjustment came through at 500 cals today (my activity level on Mfp is set at sedentary) I've only done 3000 steps so far so this seemed way to high (its usually consistently sits at a few hundred cals when I do a few more thousand steps) soI deleted the fitbit calorie adjustment and re synced it, no…

Fitbit vs HRM.... Hugely inconsistent
So I went for an hour walk with my fitbit and HRM (polar ft60). Before I left, my fitbit calorie adjustment for the day was 70 cals. So by the end of my walk, my HRM said I burned 160 calories (I don't weigh very much, hence the low number). So I get back and before I log my walk, my fitbit adjustment is now 440. So that's…

Anyone do pole dancing for fitness?
I currently do weight training and les mills classes for my exercise but I want to add something completely different and fun into the mix so was thinking pole dancing. I've heard it's a very good exercise but I have a few questions. I've seen some dancers have very bulky, almost fat upper body and arms in comparison to…

Do you average your calories out over the week?
Or do you refresh everyday? Usually I try and do it day by day however I had an awful day yesterday but if I offset it with adjusting the next two days, it will average my week out to be the same as if I hadn't had such a bad day yesterday. Does this work?

Anyone looking for a protein powder - this is it!
Omg! Optimum Nutrition is seriously the best protein powder I have ever tried. I've had ON chocolate and vanilla for a while and just added banana cream... It is to die for! I was hesitant to switch out milk for water to save on calories, and it still tastes just as good with water! If not better! I've tried other brands…

I drink so much milk each day, 3 cups to be exact. It's fat free and I watch my calories so I'm not concerned about that but isn't milk something that should be consumed in moderation?? I ate 1500 calories over maintenance.... HELP!
I'm not usually one to binge... But I had an off day regarding my diet and it just added up without realizing. Would it be ok to go into starvation mode territory the day after (being today) just for one day, to off set yesterday and then go back to normal? (which is 300 Cal below maintenance) Or should I just go back to…

Can i reach these goals if my carb intake isn't adjusted?
My goal at the moment is cut fat, get a flat stomache and then a six pack. I'm obviously eating at a deficit to get my fat percentage down and then Once that is down to an adequate amount, ill eat at a surplus to gain muscle. My problem area is my stomach, even though I only weigh 49 kilos (108 pounds). I am only 5 foot…

Running shoes for cross training purposes?
I don't strictly do just running. Would it matter if I got running shoes for cross training purposes?? Also how often should you…

Right arm feels a lot more worked out than my left?
So once I'm done on biceps/triceps day, my right arm always feels so much more lethargic than my left! My dominant hand is right so I would have thought my left would feel more lethargic but no... Some exercises are with a barbell (skull crushers) and I consciously make sure I'm taking on the weight as evenly as possible.…

My fiance's 85 year old nan still regularly does yoga
Just found this info out... And also that she can casually just throw her leg behind her head! How awesome and inspirational is that?! I was always skeptical of yoga, thinking it's a waste of time but after hearing this, now I'm not so sure!

Wholemeal pasta - yay or nay?
I know there is big controversy surrounding carbs and whether you should eat them or avoid them. I personally think they are essential and that you should eat them, especially if you're working out a lot. I'm thinking of adding whole meal past into my meal plans. Just wholemeal spaghetti, with tomato pasta sauce about…

I'm an bit ocd with my food brands. I always buy particular brands for particular foods and stick with it, even when it comes to bread. It's stupid I know but it is what it is. Body Balance vs Yoga?
I'm really interested in starting yoga, mainly for the mind benefits (stress and anxiety etc) but also for flexibility etc. I have a very busy work out week full of cardio and heavy weight lifting so I am thinking yoga once a week would be a perfect compliment to my current routine. The question is; body balance or yoga?…

Question regarding Dead lifts?
When I do dead lifts, I feel it mostly in my glutes, and hardly my back... From my understanding, I thought it was meant to hit your back just as much as your glutes? I'm sure my form is ok, as I watch in the mirror and know how they look. Should I be lifting heavier? The weight I'm lifting feels like it's a heavy enough…

I get married in 10 and a half weeks. Is this enough time?
Like the title says, I get married in 10 and a half weeks! I'm worried this isn't enough time to make a huge difference with my body. Benefits of yoga? Is it worth it?
I was thinking of doing centergy once a week (I think it's the les mills body balance equivalent) I was just wondering if it's really worth it.
