I'm looking for some input on my routine.... Here it is!

MONDAY - biceps, triceps, abs
Bicep curls
Hammer curls
Triceps dips
Skull crushers
Crunches
Russian Twist
Heal touches

Tuesday - chest and shoulders
Chest press
Shoulder press
Side lateral raise
Upright barbell row

Wednesday - back, glutes and legs
Dead lifts
Squats
Bent over barbell row
1 arm dumbell row

Thursday - biceps, triceps & abs

Friday - chest and shoulders

Saturday - back and legs

Sunday - rest

All exercises are 3 sets of 10 reps. I also walk 30 minutes most days and do les mills body Attack twice a week and body step twice a week for my cardio.

I know it's 70% diet rather than exercise but I already have that sorted and in check.

So what's my routine like? Goals are Firstly to cut fat, then I'll focus on muscle growth so will bump up my calories so it's at a surplus, keep the same routine but bump up the weights as much as I can handle and really work my butt off!

Thanks!

Main thing I would suggest is making this 6 day routine with 1 day rest into a 4 day routine with 3 days rest. If you like to work out 6 days, then do cardio on 2 of the rest days. Most obvious way to get it down to 4 days is to get rid of the arm/abs day and put them at the end of the other days. I would put triceps at the end of chest day and biceps at the end of back day. Abs can go on the back of whichever day you have time left over or do them on the off/cardio days.

A couple of other smaller points.

*Why 1 exercise for chest but 3 for shoulders? Maybe drop the upright rows for an incline chest exercise.

*On the second day of the week hitting the same muscle group, I like to do slighter lighter, slight different exercises. So if I benched for 6-8 reps on Monday then on Thursday I do dumbbells for 8-10 reps. If I did side laterals for shoulders I'll do bent laterals then 2nd time out. That sort of thing.

*Each week remember to try to increase the weight. If you can't put more on the bar try to get an extra rep or two.
