Tummy aches... Too much milk?

I've been eating very healthy for the last couple of months (except for some chocolate today lol which I burned off)
Anyway, I've been getting tummy aches and sorry for tmi but sometimes a bit of constipation too. I just don't get it because I always watch what I eat
In saying that, I am getting 3 cups of milk a day (2 in my protein shakes and one with my oatmeal) could this be the cause? I'm not lactose intolerant, have always drunk milk as a child but in my adult life, when I'm not consciously watching what I eat, I don't drink it.
Should I try and limit it each day and see if that helps?

Lactose intolerance is a sliding scale, everybody actually has a different tolerance for milk. I found that having some pro-biotic yoghurt in my diet helps me to tolerate a little more. I wouldn't eat cheese sauces or a whole pizza for instance- I'd be in pain all night- but I can have a slice of cheese on my baked potato, a yoghurt, milk in my coffee. So it can be about finding your own tolerance level.
It might not be the milk though, you can get tummy pain from being constipated, if you're blocked up. Maybe try some natural laxatives first? Prunes, apricots, orange juice or sweet potato and loads of water!0 -
I eat a pro biotic Yoghurt every day too. Plus a bit of cheese. Maybe I'm getting too much dairy I drink so much water all day and get a decent about of fiber too. Hmmmm.0

it could be to much dairy0

maybe try reducing dairy or cutting it out completely for a week or so. see how you feel then. try introducing it back and see how you feel.0
