Body Balance vs Yoga?

I'm really interested in starting yoga, mainly for the mind benefits (stress and anxiety etc) but also for flexibility etc. I have a very busy work out week full of cardio and heavy weight lifting so I am thinking yoga once a week would be a perfect compliment to my current routine.

The question is; body balance or yoga? The gym I am already at only runs les mills classes, not yoga, however body balance is a mix of yoga, tai chi, and a bit of others too (not sure what though) I tried body balance once a long time ago and it was a bit meh, but I've never done yoga to compare it to.

Should I just do body balance at my current gym in hopes for the same effects of yoga or is yoga really that much better that I should find another gym just to go to once a week specifically for yoga??

Thanks!

I think you would have to figure this out for yourself. I've never done body balance, so I can't really say. I would try some yoga classes and see what you think.
