So I am 5 foot, and started at 52 kilos and 25%. I stuck to my diet and exercise sooooo well for 6 weeks, got down to 49 kilos and 19% bf. I saw some friends I hadn't seen during this six weeks and they were all saying how much weight I had lost and how good I looked which was really encouraging! Then almost instantly, I fell of the wagon two weeks of no exercise and completely bad eating and OVER eating. 2 weeks of this and I am back into routine again. I went back up to 50kg and 22% bf
How much do you think that 2 weeks set me back? Mainly in terms of visual difference... I am so gutted that I may have ruined all of my hard work, especially since I was getting so many compliments!! damn will power....or lack of!

Hi,
You went from 49 up to 50. That is what it is. I look at this as a number, not a measure of failure. You want to go back to 49, do it. Don't get all hung up in feelings of guilt, guilt is a wasted emotion they say. People keep telling me, and I am new at all of this, working it about a month now, it's a "life style" change. Seems to me you are off to a great start on what could be a life style change for you. I don't want to really do it for others, now days, want to do it for me. This is a clue to readiness I think. Said enough, happy day to you.

Things happen but you learned that you have to pay attention to what going on with you. I know that when I have things going on over the weekend I really pay attention to what I eat and workout on top of that because I know that I'll be going out to eat and maybe see a movie but if you plan it that will help. Also you need to learn to say no or eat veggies and forget the bread but you will screw up but when that happens get on the wagon and start doing the right things and learn this is a lifestyle change and you just need to keep going and look at your goals and keep those in mind and you'll be fine0

I went off track for about a week and it only took me a few days in the gym and eating well to be back on track. In that week I was celebrating my bday and valentine's day plus being out of town so that meant meals out and drinking 3 nights in a row. I thought it would take a lot longer but I think your body responds better than you might think. Just go back to your normal healthy routine and you'll be fine. :]0
