So my fitbit calorie adjustment came through at 500 cals today (my activity level on Mfp is set at sedentary) I've only done 3000 steps so far so this seemed way to high (its usually consistently sits at a few hundred cals when I do a few more thousand steps) soI deleted the fitbit calorie adjustment and re synced it, no more additional steps taken, and it's come back at 900 calories burned!! What on earth is going on? I've never had such varying numbers before!

And nothing has changed, it's still just me wondering around at work that I'm trying to track...0

It tracks what you would normally burn. As long as you have entered everything correct then it's working fine. Have fitbit set to sedentary as well then on the page & you are all good.
Don't delete the adjustments cause then you are only denying more calories you can eat.0 -
It's not right because the number keeps jumping all over the place when my steps aren't increasing.0

Your body burns calories during the day .., I've noticed this too .. It's taking the whole day and saying this is what you have done with or without exercising . Example based on my heart rate I know that I burn about 1963 in a day . So the fit bit I feel is going by your natural burn. And then as you exercise you will have more you can enter . I am trying to find out how to sync my fit pal to my fit bit and I saw you're post . Hope I helped . Sorry it's kind of confusing I know . Lol0
