I have a friend (male, 250lb, 6'1) who eats 2,418 cal/day and exercises once or twice a day (gym/biking etc). He's lost 18lb in 3 months. How many grams of protein do you guys think he should consume? MFP has it set at 150 grams/day.
I'm consistently going way over my daily protein recommendation. Generally they recommend around 50g but I tend to eat 100 - 150g ! I don't want to build too much muscle and am only doing some cardio most days. Is that much protein bad???
