So I looked up the caloric value of dry pinto beans in many places and they always seem to be either 60 or 90 calories for a 1/4 cup dry. I was wondering if anyone would know why the difference and what the correct number is.
Since making it on my own, it doesn't really have many calories for how filling it is. Made with chopped vegetables, a rice and beans meal always seems to be under 500 calories for me and full of lots of fiber and protein.
