Couch to Marathon in 364 Days!
I posted my story on the Fitness & Exercise board, but I wanted to make sure this group reads it as well: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10264725/couch-to-marathon-in-364-days For anyone who's in the midst of C25K or debating starting, DO IT. Couch to Marathon in 364 Days!
On Oct. 5, 2014, I did W1D1 of C25K. On Oct. 4, 2015, I ran the Wineglass Marathon in Corning, New York—my first 26.2! When I first started, I set my activity level at "Sedentary," because it was mostly true. I wasn't working out, but living in…

Just ran my first 5K!
I've never been a runner. So, when I finally committed myself to Couch to 5K at the beginning of October, I was skeptical about completing the program, much less enjoying it. My final workout was Friday. I ran my first 5K race today. I finished in 32:17 (my goal time was 33:00) with splits of 11:32, 10:24, 9:28, and 8:26.…
