Can you get lean on maintenance calories?
I was wondering if it's possible to get leaner (i.e. losing inches/pant sizes) without eating at a deficit? I'm doing crossfit 5 days a week and am starving (eating at 1900 calories a day hah) so was thinking about bumping up to maintenance (which is possibly 2200-2400). The only problem is I still weigh 145ish and am a…

Intake Projections - TDEE - so close to "getting this"
Hi again, You were kind enough to answer some questions for me here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/902892-conflicting-advice-so-confused and I I went back through your TDEE + macro post in depth to figure mine out. Hi there, I was hoping someone could help me with the conflicting advice i'm getting on the forums, from fit friends and even a personal trainer. Sorry for the long winded story! 6 weeks ago I started my journey here and so far have lost 13 pounds and 4% body fat. I've been wanting to lose weight for a long while, but a…

Could these pics be the reason I'm not losing??
Hi there! I lost 10 pounds easily within 4 weeks of starting MFP.... and I lost 4% body fat as well. But I'm in a competition at my work for body fat% and after my first weigh-in 2 weeks…

Eating exercise cals the next day okay or no?
This isn't a question about whether or not I should eat exercise calories back... After using MFP for 3-4 weeks, I've tweaked the system for myself in a way that works for me (1350 calories a day, eating back exercise calories, usually exercising 300-900 cals off a day, am down 8+ pounds and 3% body fat) based on my…

losing body fat & inches over weight - cal q
Hi everyone! I am looking to lose body fat % and inches, less concerned about weight. I am 5'4 and weigh 171 pounds, but my body fat is in the 40-46% range (online calculators to an omron scale) so very scary. I only started on this "healthy living" program yesterday and want to make sure I'm on the right track with my…
