Hi, I've been on MFP awhile, but never really reached out on the message boards for friends or support. I'll take any and all friends, though I am also interested in little people like me (I'm 4'8"!) and/or people struggling with meds-based weight gain.

Lithium and weight loss
I'm looking for others like me who are on lithium and struggling to lose weight. Even carefully tracking my calories and exercising every day, I've put on 25 lbs while being on lithium. I'm hoping someone out there has had success losing their lithium weight. I could really use the support.

I'm a vegetarian with a soy allergy - does anyone know of a meatless AND soy-free hot dog available in the U.S.?

backpacking food
I'm getting ready to head out on a backpacking trip and am looking for some tips for nutritious and filling food options. I can't bring anything perishable and I won't have access to a fire pit or stove (it's wildfire season here in CA), so nothing that requires cooking. Also, I'm a vegetarian. Thoughts?
