If you know your LBM, then 1g per lb, but otherwise 0.8g per lb of goal (for you, current) weight is a good estimate. That should be your minimum, fine to go higher.5 -

Strength training, whilst awesome, really doesn't burn many calories, and exercise machines are notorious for over-estimating cals burned. As others have suggested, get a food scale, weigh everything…12
