my standard response is to buy and use a digital food scale. i weigh my bananas, cheese, peanut butter, raw sweet potato before i cook it etc etc2 -

I agree with the posters above. In addition, if bodies and food are a sources of tension between you, don’t eat together. Find other ways to spend time together besides meals.1
