Mine underestimates. Either that or my metabolism is really much better than it should be. I mean, I was over by 400-800 calories consistently for almost a year and only gained 10 lbs...1 -

A lot of people are also naturally active. You don't have to go to the gym or purposely exercise to be healthy and fit.7 -

Honestly, I don't think that you gained that much muscle in a year, unless you were eating at a surplus and doing strength training, and it's unlikely that you lost a lot of muscle in 4 months either…6
