Metabolism doesn't slow significantly until your 60's. If you're younger than that, you don't have a "slow metabolism". Exercise more, move more, walk more, etc.7 -

The problem with that is it reduces inflammation, which yeah might make you feel better, but it's the inflammation that is helping to build the muscle which is presumably why most people are lifting.…2 -
