Give me one book that you think we should read as a group and Friday morning I will draw a name out of a hat. We can continue this way every other Friday or every third Friday (tell me your choice in your first response too). If you didn't get it in by the first Friday continue to add your selections and we can add them to the hat.

Here's my suggestion: Dorchester Terrace : a Charlotte and Thomas Pitt novel by Anne Perry.
Thomas Pitt is the powerful head of Britain's Special Branch, and some people fear that he may have been promoted beyond his abilities. He, too, has moments of self-doubt, especially as rumors reach him of a plot to blow up connections on the Dover-London rail line, on which Austrian duke Alois Habsburg is soon to travel to visit his royal English kin. Why would anyone destroy an entire train to kill one person, or are the rumors designed to distract Pitt from an even more devastating plot?
Sounds exciting!!! :happy:0 -

I suggest Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind0 -
Game of Thrones0

This is a great idea. There is more to life that losing weight. My suggestion is one I found on Goodreads.

'The Splendor of Silence' by Indu Sundaresan, Atria
Splendor of Silence is the story of a young woman and the secretive American soldier she meets in India. It is romantic and passionate, but doesn’t shy away from the harsh realities of life under British rule. The author, Indu Sundaresan, skillfully weaves romance with historical fiction, making for a satisfying, poignant and highly-recommended read.0 -
