Re: WOMEN AGES 50+ FOR JULY 2025
No worries, Barbara. That's why I have my alarms set. They remind me to DO my LazyFit. HAHAHA! I've had my students walk in and gasp, "Mrs Coop! What are you doing?!?" "Just my chair exercises, kiddos! Gotta do somethin' in order to keep up with y'all!"
WOOHOO, Flea! Wonderful news.
DANGIT Allie, those two are tooooooo CUTE! I just love it. BuddaBaby and SMiles. She is a chunk, but what a cute chunk. And she's got quite a smile going on there too.
Well ladies... my sweet, sassy, lovie Sherri has left us. God Bless her. I'm actually feeling quite peaceful about it now that's it's done. I cried more last week when I found out that it was going to happen than today. Sent love and condolences to Alexis and Austin. Of course, it will take 2-3 weeks to get there, but I just couldn't make myself send it before today.
Love and Blessings

Re: MY 100 POUND JOURNEY
My name is Pat, have used MFP on and off for years. I weigh 369 pounds…..goal is to just lose and not worry about the end result at this point! I'm 71 years old with two daughters (and their spouses), two grandchildren and five great grandchildren. I live in Michigan and am embarrassingly sedentary. So tired of living this way. I have been fat since 1968
Re: WOMEN AGES 50+ FOR JULY 2025
Hey, kids,
Busy morning - busier than I planned, as yesterday's quiet day didn't hold. As I flitted from one place to another to get our holiday weekend things, my knowledge of where the bathroom is EVERYWHERE came in quite handy… at the grocery store and the gas station and Aldi and Walmart and the beer store…
Kept thinking it would stop, but I've been home for two hours and everything is still in an uproar.
But, at least my soundscape feels right with the dishwasher, the washer and the dryer all going. As soon as the washer's done, I can get the last of the laundry on the line and take a nap. Possible rain later, but not until 6 p.m., so it should be enough time to get the towels dry.
My head says there's definitely a front moving through later.
Keeping up on reading, but no energy to respond, sorry… days like this are exhausting. Just feels like wading through Jell-O.
Later,
Love,
Lisa
Re: WOMEN AGES 50+ FOR JULY 2025
I did another section of my filthy wooden stair railing. The Murphy's soap is much better at cutting the grime. Yay! But I still can't stand on my broken foot very long. Maybe two more sections to scrub, then a final rinse.
Next up I have to go buy an ice cream cake. My Aunt didn't want to cook for Independence Day, so I said I would bring an ice cream cake and some iced tea and we would just do dessert. I found some paper plates and napkins too. Terrible for my diet, but worth it to get together with family. These cheats are why my calorie budget is so low.

Re: WOMEN AGES 50+ FOR JULY 2025
Flea ~ Great news about your scan!
Rebeccca ~ How proud I am of your weight loss and following your plan.
Lanette ~ I can imagine you and Rita going on a trip. It would be a blast!
Ginny ~ Sorry you are feeling a bit off and short. Wonder if the heat contributes.
Barbara ~ Good to hear that you have friends to exercise with.
Annie ~ You scared me with the clock test for dementia. When I went for a checkup last Fall, I was asked to tell the time on the drawing and I got it wrong. Makes me think I may be losing it.
Mo ~ Hope your DH gets the job he interviewed for if it is something you both want.

Re: LESS Alcohol ~ July 2025 ~ One Day at A Time
Working on day 3 AF in July! I fought the wine devil 👿and won! My DH even had drinks yesterday and I declined…now that's progress!
@NonnieDoiron ~ I get the tired but not sleepy. Sometimes (usually when I've been around a lot of people, I get over stimulated and just need to wind down, alone, before I can fall asleep. Cooking is quite a time consuming event, especially when you don't really feel like it. I would have been upset as well and hopefully he can be a bit more mindful, especially with your current stress level. It sounds like you should get a bit of a reprieve at work. I hope it comes and helps! Sounds like a busy weekend on tap, but hopefully it will be fun and not stressful!
@chicbuc ~ Can't wait to hear about the dance competition!! There is something to be said for not drinking and feeling in control!
@SparkSpringtime69 ~ glad you're back. Glad you're enjoying the spreadsheet. It actually is a little motivator for me as I like checking off the boxes….
@LittleSurferGirl7 ~ hope you're doing well.
@globalhiker ~ I understanding feeding the discomfort, but cherries was a wise choice!!! Good to book an appointment to get to the root cause of the swelling and pain!
@Womona ~ you get to check off your AF days! You drink, no check. I'm not sure about "sending to your sheets app", you should be able to just click the link (I'll include again below but I suggest saving it as a book mark so you don't have to go searching) and it open in google sheets (assuming you are using chrome). I'll have to see how it operates with other browsers.
@tmbg1 ~ it's still early, you did great last month and I'm sure you will have a great July as well!
@SparkSpringtime69 @Womona ~ yesterday was an MRI so no real news or change. She's not yet aware of what's going on, yet. Forgive the repetition, but she is mentally disabled, yet highly functional (she lives alone). In my opinion, the hardest thing when you receive a not so fun diagnosis is the waiting to know 1) How bad it is and 2) the next steps. This is the period when time stands stills. So, if I don't get to talk to the doctor, I will tell her just prior to her appointment on Tuesday so she's not in a state turmoil for very long. I honestly don't know how she will react. With her condition, she may take it with a grain of salt or she may put 2 and 2 together (my Mom and older Sister had it) and think it's a death sentence. I just don't know.
