Surgery date scheduled Oct. 16

After 10 months of jumping through every kind of hoop (sleep study, gastric approval, heart doctor approval, and referral from my primary care) and my surgery is finally scheduled. I called the insurance pre-qualification department today and they told me I have been approved. We were like right down to the wire. I am so excited and scared at the same time.

    YAY!!! So happy for you! I do not have a surgry date yet..waiting is heck.

    Waiting was the worse part. I started my journey back in January. I had to admit to myself I was fat and I needed help. Stepping into that doctors office was my worse fear. So now 10 months later a new journey is about to begin. I got a fortune cookie around that time that said "Big journeys begin with a single step." Every time I start to feel discouraged I reread that message.
