Mud Runs?

Hello there ladies. I'm doing a Tough Mudder on the 25th ( 10-12 miles of mud, freezing water, and obstacles) and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them? You don't often see many black women at such events, which is a bit disheartening, and also limits people I can ask for those all important hair tips!

I'm a natural so I'm thinking I'm gonna load up in conditioner and cornrow or two strand twist it then pray the mud washes out easy.

Anyway. I'd live to hear about others experiences or suggestions/tips with mudruns.

I've done one a few years back, it was really fun! The mud will wash out just fine. Use a clarifying shampoo and conditioner. Run it through a few times. The mud is actually good for your hair!

I completed one with my son and we had a blast. I did alot of screaming because I despise cold water on a cold day but after a while it didn't bother me anymore. I am natural also so I wore a scarf that could easily be thrown in the washer. I am definately going to be doing another one. And my son can't wait until the next one comes
