Hi there! My name is Leena, and I actually started this group last year (as PrimalRunner/TriLifter) to help me through my first bulk. I spent 20 weeks bulking and put on 6 lbs (4 lbs LBM). Instead of cutting after, I maintained my weight and focused on recomp. I'm back and ready to make bigger gains. I was too timid on my first attempt and want to take things to the next level--max gains.

I lift 3-6x/week depending on schedule (I have to work around a husband who leaves the house anytime between 4:45 and 5:45 in the morning, a 4yo kid, fulltime work, and finishing my thesis). I do a rotation of bench/back; squat; shoulder/lat; and deadlift work.

Height: 5'6"
Starting weight: 124 lbs
Bulking duration: Until February 28, 2015

    Hey welcome back!! Glad you're giving it a second go. I think everyone's first bulk is just trial and error, and by the time we get around to our second bulk we know enough to fine tune things. I hear you on the busy schedule and trying to fit it all in. I feel overwhelmed sometimes and figure all I can do is give it my best. Good luck and I'm interested in following your progress! :)

    Hey. I'm starting my 2nd soon too. Just starting to fiddle about for maintenance as, unfortunately, I couldn't afford to skip the cut part. I think I'm still a bit over optimal bf% again but my last results were good and I'm in no hurry so on with the bulking :)

    Big thanks for starting the group in the first place, it has helped me so much. I'm going to try to be strict with myself this time as I seem to have the opposite problem from most - I love the extra calories too much :/

    I'm so glad you like the group--it really helped me through the good and bad times last year.

    Thanks for starting this group! This group and the people in it are what encouraged me to do my first bulk (jan-june). Now I'm reverse dieting my way up to bulk #2 (which will likely officially start in november).

    Up 6 lbs in 3 weeks...due primarily to water weight from new birth control pill and creatine LOL. New "start" weight is 130 lbs--goal is 145 lbs (I haven't weighed more than 135 lbs since the birth of my son in 2010!)

    Ohh yea birth control will definitely do that. Sounds like a great goal... you have lots of experience and have been through it so mentally you can handle it better than us newbies! Max gains here you come!!!
