Drivebit Alternative? Fitbit Counts Steps While Driving

Hey everyone!
So for awhile, I noticed that my fitbit occasionally counts steps and levels while driving. I downloaded the app DriveBit on my iphone and used it to record my drives, but recently, drivebit has stopped working properly. It logs the end time of my drive as the beginning of the drive- meaning that a 10 minute drive I took starting at 2:30-2:40 gets recorded as from 2:40-2:50. Does anyone know of a way to resolve this bug, or another app that does the same thing? I've been going in manually and fixing it, but it's a pain.

I am not a DriveBit user but I wanted to add to this by telling you that for the past few days the Dashboard on Fitbit has not been adjusting the steps I manually remove during the time I drive my school bus, twice a day. I have called and reported this to Fitbit and they investigated and saw that the device is showing the steps removed once I enter them after I finish driving, but something is wrong with Dashboard. Previously this did work. They are looking into the problem; in other words the issue was forward to the guys who work behind the scenes and hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Maybe the DriveBit adjustment problem is also related to the Dashboard failure to sync adjustments.0 -
I am Having the same issue. I played golf today and Fitbit logged 20 floors. I went in and logged driving during that time but it still shows the floors.0

Floors are not used to estimate calorie burn - merely motivational, and not seen a way to replace them since they aren't used in any math.Chrisbdaman wrote: »I am Having the same issue. Stairs do not affect your burn in any way—it's just a fun motivating metric. It's based on changes in air pressure, so you can get lots of "floors" just being outside on a windy day.
If you walked at all whilst golfing, I wouldn't log it as driving. Do not overthink your step count—it's only a metric. I get "steps" drying my hair, and miss some pushing a shopping cart. But I lost the weight & have successfully maintained, so my Fitbit burn is accurate.
Trust your Fitbit for several weeks, then reevaluate your progress.0
