Fitbit challenges

Someone invited me to a Fitbit Challenge and I'm like, Yay, so I signed up...and ever since then I get lots of notifications on my iPhone app about the challenge, but every time I try to look at the Challenges page the app freezes. I can't find anywhere on the website that mentions these Challenges -- does anyone have a pointer?
