Starting over due to straining my wrist

Ugh. I started off so well last week and was really looking forward to this week's workout but it was not to be. My last workout I strained my lower back and my wrist. Bad form, I know. My back feels fine now and my wrist should be fine by weekend's end. I guess that I will have to start the program all over. Clearly I need to work on my form, too, so maybe a redo isn't such a bad idea.

Started over & lo & behold, I'm stronger! I could not do 45lb OHP the first time around. This time I did 3 full sets & 2 sets of only 3 reps before failure. I concentrated on form so I wouldn't hurt myself

congrats! It still surprises me how a weight that feels so heavy one workout will feel not so heavy the next.

Nice! It's crazy sometimes when it feels so much lighter.

I remember just 2 months ago when my trainer put me under the bar and I could barely lift it and it was like a ton of bricks on my shoulders. Now it feels so light, and I am only squatting 75. The gains come fast.

Not a Russian Blue, actually. We thought he was, too. But RB's always have mauve pads on their paws and he has gray. He's all gray except for his eyes. I call him a Domestic Blue, lol.

maybe a mix, with those pretty ears and the *kitten*-willow paws . . . he's lovely anyway.

It's good to hear you healed up fast! I get sore wrists a lot, and I worry about straining sometimes. Thank you for sharing your experience.

It sounds like the extra rest gave you a boost. : )
