My journey so far...

I haven't really been noticing my weight loss. I knew in my brain that I've lost 37 lbs. which is freaking awesome! I started this journey at 6" tall and 275 lbs! I've been fat my whole life. Just continuously telling myself that it's just the way I was meant to be. So, I've never truly tried to lose weight. One day I randomly stepped on a scale. At my size it definitely wasn't something I did on a regular basis. When I saw that I weighed 275!! I was truly shocked. I was creeping up on that 300 lb mark, and something had to be done. When my MIL asked what I wanted for my birthday. I asked for the Wii Fit. I also found a little site we all know, and love myfitnesspal.com. I started to actually pay attention to what I put in my mouth. Mostly how much I was putting in my mouth. I started out doing 30 minutes with the Wii Fit every day, and worked my way up to at least an hour every day. With a 2 year old, and a 4 year old boy this was not easy. Lol. Next I discovered an app called Sworkit. I can throw Pandora on, and do 30 minutes of Sworkit, and get a nice burn. I've also started walking A LOT. I walk my now 5 year old to and from school almost every day. Now even after all this progress I knew I've made. I didn't really SEE the difference in the mirror. So, I decided it must be time to take a new picture. I see it! I really do. All this work hasn't been for nothing. I'm really making a difference. I now weigh 237! That 300 lb mark is no longer the number I'm worried about. Now I'm excited to see that 200 lb mark headed my way. I'm only 4 months into my journey, but I have really made a lifestyle change. I don't have any fear that I'll fall back into my old ways. I haven't completely cut all the good stuff out of my life. So, I don't feel deprived. I seem to be rambling here. Lol. So, I'd love to see the progress of all my other tall ladies. How are you all feeling about your journeys so far?
