6 weeks post surgery & cycle problems

So I had my vs done 6 weeks ago. I have lost 26 lbs. My period was coming every 28-30 days normal before surgery now I will have a period come like normal and then be done with after 7 days like normal then about 1 week later start again. Is this just normal for having surgery recently or should I make an appointment with my gyno?! Sorry for the tmi I'm just not sure who else to ask. I guess I should add I haven't been meeting my fluid intake requirements or protein.

I have read that the surgery can jack up your cycle for awhile because it screws with your hormone levels. It should level out after awhile, but when in doubt, call your doc.0

Okay, I had heard that too, but just wasn't sure if it would since mine was already regular. I will just wait it out and see if it goes back to normal lol. Thanks!0

I was Ms irregular 5-6 cycles a year who has now to my husbands chagrin become super regular. Change in cycle seems very common. This sounds like a good question to ask at your next follow up appt0
