error message when trying to join New Years challenge group

I accepted Silver Stormi's invite to join the new group by now when I go to the group I am asked again if I want to join. When I click on yes, I get an error message.

I have reported the problem but wanted to give everyone a head's up.

And even though I accepted right away, I cannot "do" anything in the group. Hopefully they get the problem fixed soon.

Edit: I decided to see if I could post a new message and I can, so apparently seeing the join group button and getting the error message doesn't affect that. Whew!
