Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge for short term goals

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

Have a great week and do the best you can! :drinker: :flowerforyou:   :flowerforyou:  :drinker:

    Happy Halloween!
And Welcome Karen! Plank for a minute?!? I'm impressed- I think my arms would break after about 30 seconds :#
OK, so even though I have weekly goals, I am focusing today on staying strong in choosing healthy food over Halloween candy. I usually just avoid temptation by not keeping treats in the house, but today there will be treats here for the trick or treaters so the challenge is on :o

Hope all is going well for everyone this week ~ Susan

I have no Halloween candy in the house and I'm so glad. We are doing some landscaping and work outside and there are no lights, as in porch etc. I took some candy to the little neighbor girls and the others will have to do without this year. Susan, planking isn't hard on the arms, in fact I am on my elbows . . . but the mid-section quivers. I better do it right now before I forget.

Good for you for throwing out the extra treats! You know what they say, just cause you go thru one red lights doesn't mean you run them for the week. Move right on to the new day.

Well, I'm not going to get to one of my goals. I will have to put the watching the DVD for the sandbag training and getting going on that for next week. I did log all my meals, hiked 4 times for a total of about 31 miles; I've done my plank and just took my bike in to the shop this afternoon. I feel very good about all of this and know I wouldn't have gotten my bike in if it weren't for this group. Ten miles of the hiking was this morning, then grocery shopping at Costco and 2 other stores. I'm pooped! Let's keep at it gals. I'll post my goals for next week tomorrow or Monday.

Same the last couple days... I think I better keep my goal list shorter to focus on the ones I do list next week more intensely. I feel a bit spread out....I imagine some has to do with the pain distraction.

Karen: sounds like you had a fantastic week! Glad you got the extra motivation to take your bike in , too :)

Hearts- hope you are feeling better soon <3

Forestrose : great job with the exercise!

Papillon: How did your week go?

    My week's progress summary:
    Goals 10/27 to 11/02
    1. Exercise 4 days this week : 3/4 ( the neuropathy and arthritis in my right foot was just too painful today to get the fourth day in)
    2. Stay hydrated: pretty good ( I seem to get between 6-7 glasses of water daily and would still like to increase that a bit)
    3. Stay within my designated calorie range with healthy food choices at least 6/7 days : this was more of a challenge for me this week. Too many carbs, not enough protein and then the Halloween fiasco. This is the area I am going to focus on next week.

<3 Thank you all for your encouragement and support. It means a lot to me. <3
