Surgery date received!

I got a call from the hospital yesterday afternoon to let me know insurance had approved my surgery. They were able to schedule me for surgery on November 19th--just a little over 3 weeks from now. I'm a little freaked thinking about the "food" situation after surgery. I've seen many people state to not buy a bunch of protein drinks or powder beforehand because tastes can change. So did you just buy a sampling of several things to have on hand when you were released from the hospital, until you could figure out what you liked or didn't like? Any suggestions?

    Best of luck to you, I did the same in buying a variety. My date is Nov. 12th. I also bought the supplements and the calcium I bought in the chew form and the pill form, not sure which one will be the best.
