I'm visiting my best friend up north. I can't wait as we haven't seen each other in a year and it's really.tough living.so far away from.your bestie.
But.I admit.to a little anxiety about food. I'm fairly certain we will drink and possibly have a take out and I feel a little edgy not having the control over my.diet I usually do. I'm going to be honest and log it all good or bad but do I just go and think.sod it, this is like a once a year thing and I can recommit monday or should I try really hard to stick to what I've been doing so far. I just don't want to get on those.scales.monday and see a gain, I know I will lose it again training.for the games but.I'm worried about derailing myself when I'm on a winning streak.
Stupid anxiety

Find a balance. Tell her for every crap meal you have, you want to share a new fun recipe with her...cook at her place! Then ask her to go for walks with you. If she loves you half as much as we do, she'll appreciate the compromise. And if she's not up for it, pick up healthy breakfast and snacks, go for a walk before she's up in the morning, and just love your life. Usually, I say screw it, it is once a year, but I know the real psychological impact that can have, and you don't need that!!!! So figure out creative ways to get and stay healthy on your trip!0

We havent really talked much about plans beyond the halloween party for the kids tomorrow evening which is when we will probably drink and order out (once kids in bed obv). Im hoping to cook for her saturday and im driving home sunday so wont drink saturday night so maybe one day misbehaving wont be too bad. I am about 3 weeks ahead on my end of year plan so I do have some wiggle room and cant really derail knowing ive got to train for next years competition so I guess I could find a balance. Thx hon0

Well that's decided that. I've already had a.donut and.coke so today's take away and alcohol and chalk it up as a loss, tomorrow I'm.cooking something nice but.low cal and taking kids for a long walk and Sunday I'll possibly.have to count as a loss.too due.to driving.and.snacking so will accept scales verdict monday and get my *kitten* in the gym0

I love that you've already adjusted to account for your excess! That is the win in my book...0
