I'm going to keep it easy this week:
Continue daily one minute plank
Walk or hike 5 days
Journal all meals
Increase vegetables

Good Morning, All,
Karen- thanks for getting us started. You picked great goals. have a good week. one tip that helped me with increasing vegetables was to add them to sauces and other dishes so it doesn't seem like such a big deal. have a great week
I accomplished my goals last week so I am keeping them the same. If I do it again this week I will increase them or switch them around. thanks to all of you for your support

Karen, Thanks for getting us started. I've read that raw veggies have the most nutrition, so I get my veggies in by having a salad every night with dinner. I saw you did a great job with your goals last week and sounds like you are jazzed for another great week
Forestrose , I see that you not only MET, but EXCEEDED your goals last week- go Forestrose go!
Hearts- hope you and your knee are doing well
I met my goals last week , and decided to keep those two with a little tweaking:
11/10-11/17 goals
1. Eat 25% of my calories in protein 6/7 days
2. Exercise 4/7 days

Thanks to all your wonderful Cheer leading Ladies ... the Weather/season change seems to have me a bit in the blues... the ice and cold and probably a bit of SADD. Hopefully the sun will come out a bit more and that'll change it a bit.

All is well with me. It's been a busy hiking week. Yesterday was to Sedona with 4 other gals for a hike and lunch. Just a beautiful hike. Today will be hike number 4. I have journaled all my food and done my plank. I need to stay home a little longer so I get a few more vegetables in. I'm not opposed and I do eat more than many people. Tonight I think we'll have salmon, Danish squash and a kale dish.

Hearts- keep going as you are doing well with your goals. I know you can get to the rest of them. sorry the weather has you down but keep your head up and try to do something active (knees etc permitting) inside. hopefully some sunshine will come your way.
Susan- thanks for the push and the support. it has been a tough week but nothing serious. I will keep plugging away. Keep going with the exercise and I know you can get those 4 in.
Karen- amazing job with your hikes. glad that you have been able to share them and the beauty. keep going. great job journaling and doing your planks. keep it going with your vegetables. thanks again for all of your support.
