Nov. 13 goals

Back from work functions where I managed to have a 550 cals breakfast without going overboard.

Goals for the rest of the day:

1) Choose lunch wisely. I know that I will probably be over a little bit today, but I don't want to eat up all my deficit, so lunch would have to be picked with care, even if it's at a good restaurant.
2) Follow the exercise plan - today should be elliptical and lifting.
3) Plan my week menu ahead for next week.

    I did okay, not great yesterday. Didn't walk as much as planned and went to bed way too late. The weirdest thing is that I started the day in a great mood and relaxed and got progressively more stressed and woke up that way still today. My guess is that it's one of those things where I'm stressed about work but sublimating by overreacting to everything else or perhaps just hormonal, but I don't like it. So today's goals are going to address that some:

    1) Get in a good workout of some sort, whatever seems most appealing. Run if I feel like it (my training plan calls for 5 miles either today or tomorrow) and happen to get home early enough or decide I don't mind the treadmill, but if not do it tomorrow, that's fine.

    2) Actively try to think positive thoughts. For example, it really is pretty outside, with a very blue sky and a few flakes of snow in the air, and I'm looking forward to going to the running store to buy a few cold weather items to running in.

    3) If I can find time, go outside for 10-15 minutes at lunch and get some natural light.

    I was planning on my meal shake for breakfast this morning but then was offered a bagel. So I need to replan my meals today since I tried planning every thing out. After work I am heading to the rescue and then to get my hair done. Im debating between either red lowlights or just do Busy day for me but since my husband is working late tonight we arent celebrating our anniversary until this weekend.

    1. get in at least 10k steps (and lots of slobbery kisses)
    2. 10 glasses of water
    3. replan my meals since I already didnt follow my preplaned ones.

    1) 6-9 hours meaningful work - yes I did this, although I lost steam at the end of the day
    2) 30 min lightbox in morning - did this!
    3) night-time routine starting at 11:45 - did this!

    My Goals:

    1) Plan out my meals for the day - didn't really do this today.
    2) Stay within my calories
    3) Exercise - hoping to get a walk in
    4) Drink 80 oz – 100 oz of water (60 oz so far)
