setting goals on mfp and fitbit

Hi everyone .I am going to start tracking my calories on mfp again .I now have my fitbit back so going to do lots of walking .I wondered whats the best thing to do have fitbit and mfp set to maintain and just aim for a deficit every day or just set them both to lose 1lb a week ,whats everyone else do :)

    Easiest to follow 1 road to a destination, not attempt to follow 2.

    Use Fitbit for exercise goals, don't worry about setting diet goals there.

    Set MFP for your diet goals, reasonable deficit for amount to go, and sync Fitbit in so MFP is working with good figures.

    You can correct non-step based exercise Fitbit is underestimating on MFP or Fitbit, depending on sync issues and desire for exercise to show up as wall posting for others to see.
