Progress and routine questions

Hey guys,

since March I ve been working out to gain muscle. So I ve done some changes in my eating and my exercises lately, all in all its ok from the beginning and its giving me changes. I was working out in the morning, exercising with focus on my legs,butt and abs, eating 5-6 meals a day, every 2-3 hours.Since September I ve changed it, to focus as well more on my back and arms, where I was really weak, also I am not so strict about my meal frequency and the exact amount of food per meal,due to work. Only I still eat 2550 kcal on workout days and 2450 on rest days. I am doing 4 times a week for about 90 minutes three or four sets with around 6-15 reps of the following exercises, except Side planks, which I do 1 minute, every side, three times.

barbell curl, side lateral raise, a variation of dumbbell bent-over row,superman(back ext.),
lying leg raise, donkey kick, fire hydrant, sissy squat.

What do you think about my routine?

So one thing I ve recognized, my weight is like one week I weigh 54 kg the other 55 kg and its going on like that for some time now.I also had two weeks in which I weighed 52,8 and the other week 54 :D . All in all in May my weight was 52, the last weeks it was around 53-55.My waist is almost at the same measurements. Do you have experienced that?

Also my belly, (the lower part) and my waist, (lower back )extend throughout the day and it makes my kinda look "fat".. do you have same experience?


So I hope you have some interesting advice :)

    I think your routine is amazing! I only lift 3 times a week and I am at the 3rd week of Strong Curves.

    Yes, I do experience my belly is getting more "bloated" My waist stays the same but my butt has grown 2 inches... I guess it's good since I do want to have a nice round butt.

    I didn't take any measurements for my other body parts when I started bulking ( this Sept) But I do notice my triceps are bigger and more defined. My thighs are also bigger ( my pants are getting tighter) and more defined. I have a little curves on my hamstrings :)

    I also think you look amazing from your photos, how tall are you? 2450 cal is a lot, I am 5'7 ( 171.5cm) 126 lbs ( 57kg) I gained about 4 lbs since Sept. I think you are doing great!

    Hey funfang, thank you for replying :)
    I m around 162 cm so 5´3 .. In the past I was sitting all day at home eating a lot of food without gaining weight :D at that time I weighed 50 kg ... last year in April, I started doing fitness and it was so hard to eat clean and controlled. So finally i did a constant diet from December 2013 to March 2014, where I ate 1480kcals and weighed 48 kg at the end. I was totally lean and gained a little muscle...
    Soo do you have experience with getting worse skin on your butt and hams? It is freaking me out :D My skin was always smooth ...

    Wow .. so you have constant weight changes? You look good in shape ! :)

    I am not sure what you mean by your skin getting worse. My got cellulite because... well, I am older now and had two kids. One thing I notice is that I have some little round thing a little bigger then pimples on my body. I read it some where that's because your fat cell is actually getting smaller and it's getting dense and it will eventually go away.

    Well, I started MFP this March trying to lose weight after my second baby, I lost about 14 lbs and then decided I want to bulk and build muscles, muscular is way sexier then skinny fat :p
