Hi ladies,
I am new to this group, wondering if anyone is on the healthy mummy smoothies? I just started a couple of days ago and haven't weighed in yet but I'm hoping to start seeing results soon. I put on about 40kg with my pregnancy even though I had hyperemisis and spewed the whole time, my Dr said it's because my body went into 'starvation mode' or something. Anyway I've lost about 12kg since having my first bub almost six months ago but I still have at least 25kg's to go (probably more!).
Would love to hear other mums stories and share motivation and progress!

Hi there! I've got one that does wonders if you like the combination. Once I started making these, I stopped needing a snack between breakfast and lunch. Side benefit, my 2 1/2 year old started drinking these as well which appears to be shaving about 15 minutes off the morning routine. \o/

Peanut Butter-Banana Smoothie (makes 2-3 servings)

2 frozen bananas (add ice cubes if they are not frozen)

    1 cup milk

1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (increase milk if you use a thick Greek yogurt)

As much creamy peanut butter as you want. 1/2 cup keeps me full. 1/3 cup to 1 tbsp cuts calories but may not be as satisfying

    Extras:
    honey
    flax seed
