Hi
my surgery was the 12th Nov - same day as relentless2121 *waves*. I had had a VSG 8 years ago and was having a VSG to VSG revision. I had a large amount of adhesions was in surgery for 2.5-3hours - went into theatre at 4pm and got back to hospital room at 10pm - I had stretched my sleeve in weird ways and my surgeon said it was stretched a lot at the top, a little at the bottom and the middle looked the same.

He removed the adhesions and did a re-sleeve at the bottom stretching and a plication (pleating of stomach wall with stitching) at the stretching at the top.

So I'm kind of not a VSGer ;)

My worst day was day 2, but everything else after feels a lot better than I remember it being after VSG number 1. I was in hospital for 4 days and back at work on day 6. I brought a pillow with me to hold between my belly and my desk and this week I have no pillow, am not on meds, just my regular one and the acid reduction.

My post op app is on Wed, my 2wk date.
I feel way more healed than I did last time - which may be because it was mostly plication - I will discuss with surgeon. The scales are teasing me, but I know that is just teasing and it will stop.:)
