Toenails

This weekend a toenail fell off ten years after I did something wrong while running the L.A. Marathon. My doctor said running damaged the roots and caused it to stop growing and not to worry about it. But 10 years? Is it a shoe issue?

Usually is a shoe issue where your toes get jammed into the toe box of the shoe.

Yep. Go up a half size.

If your feet can't fully splay due to the shoe size and/or wrong toebox for your foot, you also lose valuable stability and impact dispersing in addition to toenails.

    This.

When I last got fitted at the running shoe store the guy warned me that shoes in the proper size might well seem too big at first, because you need more room in the toes than most people think feels right.
