I logged into the group but today was missing:( so I created the tread.
Yeaterdy was lots of fun, football in the morning and cooking and eating later. Calorie wise I was over by 1000, but weekly target is still within reach. The calories didn't scare me as much as the carb count did. Naturally, the scale was up this morning ( carbs bind with water ... You know the story...) by 2.2lb;
My biggest challenge right now are all the leftovers, especially the Key Lime Pie- I don't have the heart to throw it away but it's so hard to resist it. The plan for today is to spend some time outside in the snow with my daughter, eat regular food so I don't get hungry and run to the fridge, drink water and finally cook the turkey ( we cooked the ham yeaterdy and got too tired to cook the bird) she is waiting patiently in fridge :)
Chances are this one day or week will not matter much in the grand scheme; and, when we look back, we will all feel proud that we succeed while also enjoying the Holidays.
Have a fabulous day everyone!!!

    I too gain some weight, but I thought I might. Today's goals are to not stay on the computer very long. I was outside late morning with my leaf vacuum cleaning up the side yard. Can't relive it is over 60 degrees outside today. To bad I have to go to work later and can't enjoy it all day. Will try to get all my steps in before I come home from work.

    Okay i really tried to be good yesterday passed on all desserts and eat very little of the traditional Thanksgiving Food. I tried to pace myself since i had two dinners to attend. Was so afraid to get on the scale this morning and to my surprise i lost 1 lb. I hope that it isn't a fluke and that i really did a good job yesterday. Today i worked for 8.5 hours (retail) and was on my feet all day walking throughtout the store, so i am hoping that helps to keeps the weight off. Crossing fingers to see if tomorrow the scale stays the same.

    Today was a write off for me food wise, had a 1/2 day conference, and had lunch and supper out. Very high calorie, sodium and fat count although nothing extravagant was eaten. But I did get over 18,000 steps in, did my workout DVD and shovelled for almost an hour. Hopefully that will compensate a little for the huge overage. Tomorrow am supposed to be doing a 5k but we just got 30-40 cms of snow and it supposed to be in the -30's
