Happy Holidays, and welcome to the December weight loss challenge! With the holiday party season upon us, what will you do to stay healthy and fit through the craziness? Make a plan now to stay healthy and strong through the season! I know I will

If you are new and want to join in, by all means do! We love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:
Name: (if you'd like to share)
My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Life time goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)
Weigh ins: What days you will weigh in. (I will weigh in on Fridays in December)
12/5/14= (Fill out after each weigh in.)

12/26/14=
12/31/14= (Final weigh in for the month.)
The simplest way to do this is to find your previous weeks post, copy the text then click the reply button. Paste the text in and add your new weight.
Also, if you are quoting someone to send them a kudo or offer a hand up, please add @theirusername to the top of the text so we can keep who's who straight (very helpful when we get over 100 posts per month

I find I came home from Yellowstone, initially lost a couple of pounds then stopped logging and went off plan, too many "special" meals and put on 8 lbs in just over two weeks. Time to refocus, log and get back in the groove no matter how many kids, cats and etc. we have back home right now...

Thanks Dward I was doing fine until I started law school, and then the weight started creeping back on and back to MFP I ran, lol0

Greetings, all! So, after letting life get the best of me in November, I found myself not even close to OP and thus not going anywhere except up. After arriving back at my 100 lb mark after losing a few more pounds, I've decided to get back on the wagon before things get any worse. I always knew this was going to be a marathon rather than a sprint, but I sure would like to see the destination at some point, too (which won't happen if I keep stopping to smell - and eat! - too many proverbial flowers ;-) Goals for the month include getting water in, cutting carbs way back, and getting to the gym at least three days each week.0 -

Challenges this month: Christmas and my birthday. A potential issue would be if I have to go to Wisconsin for Christmas as food options will be utterly out of my control. I may see about picking up a few items I can have around the hotel room while we're there. Then again, I have no idea how much time I'd be spending at the hotel or how I'd be getting the presents from Springfield, MO to Madison, WI...lots of stuff. So, this month may be the last one of the year, but it may well prove to be my most challenging.0 -

Derailed for about a week, somewhat on purpose. I needed a break! I did eat too much during that week, but I'm proud that I immediately got back on the horse when I said I would and I'm back at it. Hope to lose 8 pounds this month.0 -
