When one side of the body is considerably weaker...

My left side is considerably weaker than my right side, especially when it comes to the overhead press, but I also notice it on my other lifts. Is there a way to train to bring more balance to a weaker side, or should I just try to keep my form as balanced as possible when I lift and hope that things eventually will balance out. As my lifts get heavier, the strength difference is becoming more pronounced and I am worried it could lead to injury.

Overhead Press: 60
Deadlift: 120

My left bicep is weaker than my right. I notice it on bench and rows. The trainer had me doing bench press with Dumbbells and also flies. I would think most dumbbell work would help balance the muscles. I was wondering myself if one should do more sets/reps on the weaker side until they are more balanced.

Yup, like southern said, dumbbells might be your solution here. One thing I might add is that, if you really wanna focus on strengthening one side, do single arm work - go for the weakest side first, then do the same amount of reps (no more) on the other side. It'll help the weaker side catch up, and doing it single-armed will help focus on form and might allow you to even do a little more weight.

Typically though, while the difference will become more apparent at higher weights, your weaker side is not getting weaker in relation to your other arm - it just shows more that there's a discrepancy. Unless your daily routine includes a LOT of single limb work. Then you might want to try to compensate a bit for that. (I used to do it with bowling, as it totally threw out my back, so I would come home and do a bunch of biceps curls and rows on my left side to compensate a bit. It helped. A little. Didn't really know what to do about the twisting, though...)

    Hope that helps

Thanks for the advice. I think I will try some more dumbbell and single arm work to see if it will help.
