Gary..sending positive thoughts that all comes out well with the wife. You deserved that drink.
Kat glad the hubs is coming home..that should help with your sleep!
As usual, your weekend sounds fun, Kate! :drinker:
and Chloe...could your profile pic be any cuter?
I drank wine last night. long day. but we got our tree and it smells soooooo gooood! Putting it up tonight and I'm excited. I'm thinking I'll have wine while doing that. :)

I had the other three horchata blue moons, so it looks like I will be having wine tonight, with some of those hershey kisses cherry cordials, I really like them. My husband, on the other hand, accused me of trying to poison him :s well, more for me :p
Yeah, I don't know how I felt about the SOA ending, or this season, actually, I won't say more-no spoilers.
I read an interview in Rolling Stone with the writer Kurt Sutter (Otto) and he is with Katy Segal in real life. He is a pretty twisted individual!
I have to say, there wasn't anything like it. I liked Fargo, and True Detective...
Oh, I am listening to the Serial podcast, any other fans? I fear it will be ultimately unsatisfying...

Yeah, stomach thing hit our house. Daphne had it Sunday - Tuesday. I had to work from home Monday and Tuesday, which I actually accomplished quite well....I never thought I'd be one to be able to do that.

Hope you all feel better and sleep well.

Kate, I hope that your tummy starts feeling better! That is the worst feeling in my opinion. Just a yucky feeling. :( Good job on the 0's (even though it is not really a choice!). Enjoy Hunger Games! My hubs and I saw it last Friday and I loved it! Rest up so you can fully enjoy your weekend (and DRINK!).

Chloe and Kat...now I feel like I should just watch the finale episode and get it over with. I feel like I know what is going to happen, but maybe not!! What is your opinion? Should I try to watch the past 7 episodes....will I miss a lot if I don't?

    Monday - 0
    Tuesday - 0
    Wednesday - 0
Thursday - probably going to pick up some wine after work...or beer. I'm really wanting some! A little booze to help me prepare for the busy, busy weekend ahead of me!

You may not believe this but I actually got a zero last night. I battled myself but I didn't cave!
Kat sorry you can't sleep I know the feeling all too well
Kate sorry your tummy is upset
I never started SOA so I have no feelings on the subject
Zip I am glad you made it thru
Syd you definitely have to drink when dealing with X=mas Trees
Gary I will cast a candle healing spell and send the energy your way.
    Take care Lushes

I had to share. Princess Via will be 3 on Jan 23 and Princess Ande just turned 1 on Sep 25.
Olivia was sick as dog on this day at Disneyland last weekend and she fell the weekend before and got 6 sutures in her forehead. But the trip had been planned for a while. I can't believe how big Andelane is getting.

    Hello dear lushes...

I am back to exercise and controlling the lushiness. However, this weekend will be my extended family Christmas celebration in WI Dells. It is sure to be a lushy time.

Monday, 2.5 margs and 2 beers
    Tuesday, zip
    Wednesday, zip
    Thursday, zip
Friday, packing the car and wrapping gifts. I am sure that wine will be involved :D
    Saturday, drink fest
    Sunday, drink fest

I have missed everyone here. The move is still not settled and I am sure that it will be a full year before all is said and done. I am sick of the white walls and plan to paint after the new year. I needed to be in the house for a while before deciding what colors to put where.

Between the new house and Christmas, I am sick of shopping - and, that means a lot for someone who LOVES to SHOP.

Kate, I have a friend from work who just might be moving to Hawaii and I was thinking of how you might be too.

Congrats, Chole on the new baby to be

Kat, I don't sleep well when hubs is gone either. I appluad the Christmas sentiment, skip the gifts.

    Mama, just keep plugging along

Amy, I am trying Juice Plus shakes. I contacted the woman this morning. You will rock the challenge for sure.

Rzye, I'm glad that your wife is A-OK - prayers for the biopsy results

Brig, I giggled about the the ugly sweater reunion and your un-awareness of it.

Syd, yes, it's great when the shopping is done and you just get to enjoy the season.

Looks like everyone is checking in and doing well with their own thing...moderating or not.
I had wine and will continue to throughout the weekend I'm sure. It's POURING down rain here..hope we don't float away. We need this with our drought...but not this much this fast.
Happy weekend to you all! :drinker:

Kat- I know I am so sad SOA is over :( Not sure how I feel about that ending, but I don't think I would've been happy with anything. Honestly out of all the shows we watch I think that is my ultimate fav.

I feel like all our shows are done or ending, Dexter, Californication, Sons, Justified, Mad Men... Thank god we have Walking Dead!

I hear ya....we watch all of those too. The only one we got behind in is Justified, we watched the first few seasons and then it fell of the radar. I am thinking we will catch up on that one for sure. I wonder if they will do a marathon sometime that I can DVR. I don't think its on demand or netflix.

Robin-I see the pic....they are precious!!!

SUPA LUSHY....we did decide to go see Hunger Games thursday night and it was AWESOME!!!!! I drank too much, shocker!!!
Friday-we were both off, so we cleaned in the morning (1 beer), then headed to my parents to take care of their dogs (1 beer), stopped for a beer on the way to BJ's (1 beer), stopped at one of our fav places after BJ's (1 flight), hit the supermarket and got home about 730, had more beers.......went to bed WAY too late, but had so much fun!!!
Saturday-SIL & BIL came over to brew a beer....LOTS of beer and LOTS of vodka
    Sunday-0...my liver needed it

Planning on some zeros this week!!!!

    Another fun weekend, Kate!! :drinker:
I drank too much Friday...managed a 0 on Saturday and had a bottle of red yesterday. Could have been worse I guess. Looking to pull it together this week before the kid gets home on Thursday.

Chloe...a lot of people love Parenthood and I watch but usually end up throwing things at the screen lol. The dialogue is over done..the writing is often unrealistic...and the plot lines predictable. But the characters are interesting. It doesn't even compare to cable series IMO...but if you've got time it might be worth a watch. How's that for a glowing review? lol

Lots of wine this weekend. I ordered all the stuff for bathroom redo. I am suffering from sticker shock. We plan on working on during the winter break. I am taking 3 vacation days to make it a full two weeks. I love Boeing and the winter shutdown!!!

Justified is on Netflix, we get it:)
My weekend was not too lushy, really, I barely left the house:
    Friday=1 drink
    Saturday=2 drinks
Sunday=4 (2 beers, 1 hot toddy and a glass of red)

challenge starts today so I am going to try to get some 0s... according the plan you can have one drink 3x per week! inconceivable!

Chloe, I watch Parenthood. I really like it, but I think it is one of those shows that you either love or hate. I'm really sad it is ending!

My weekend was entirely TOO lushy! And I'm completely exhausted today from having to wake up at 5am in order to take my Dad in for cataracts surgery. So, so tired. I have dinner with a friend after work and then I'm going home & going to bed!!

    Thursday-Saturday: WAY TOO MUCH!
    Sunday - 0
Monday - probably at least 1 or 2, going to Abuelos and you HAVE to get sangria during happy hour! It would be a sin not to!

Amy, good luck with your challenge!! 1 drink 3x per week? Oh my, I don't know if I could do that!! ;)

Thanks Kate! It did! Took him to his follow up this morning and he is good to go!

After getting up at 5am yesterday morning I thought I would sleep great considering how tried I was last night. However, that was not the case! I think I got 3-4 hours of sleep (maybe?). So, I hope tonight is better..

Tuesday-well Lenny and I decided to go out to dinner so that equals drinks. 2 beers (1 10oz and 1 6oz) and then 6oz of our homemade melomel and 6oz of a melomel from a local farm.
    Wednesday-probably a 0
