How to Say "No"

They come in many forms, your best friend, Mom, proud cooks. They are food pushers, the ones you have trouble saying no to. It can be tricky, you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but honesty is the best policy.

If you are full, just say no. Let them know that while the food was delicious, you just don't want to over do it.

Let questions and comments roll off your back. Don't feel defensive or under attack. Sometimes questions are curiosity because you are doing something different than you have done in the past. Keep in mind that what you are doing differently is positive and to improve your life.

If saying no just doesn't work, try only a bite and you won't be over eating.

Remember to stay confident in yourself and in your goals. With confidence you can say no if you need to and manage those well intentioned food pushers we all know and love.
