Dear Self,

As much as sugar tastes good, it doesn't feel good. How about this week we stick to less sugar and less sodium?

I know our feet are still on the mend, but our arms, back, abdomens, and chest are not. So let's get on losing some weight off the back and arms for the time being. Okay? Remember, if it looks too hard to get started, can you just get it done today?

Finally, I know you've been sick and stressed, but I really need to feel thirsty and hungry when I need to eat. Somehow, we've learned to ignore and stop having those signs, but they are important. So I've set up alarms on my phone and fitbit to help remind us when to eat and to try and keep hydrated.
