Medication interactions for Synthroid/ Levothyroxine

Both of the medications should be taken 2 hours before or after any other meds or food. Does everyone follow this rule? Have you seen a difference either way? I find it hard to take 2 hours before of after. I am up by 5:30 but it is a hassle to remember to take it as soon as I wake!
