R_Queenie: the flu this year is terrible and I am sorry that your family has it. I hope you all get well soon. It does stink to miss holidays with family. (Since you sound like you want to go. I am so over my MIL. She blew off my son's birthday today and my daughter's on Sunday. I'm hoping she blows off Christmas, but think my FIL will draw the line at that.)0 -

I woke up sneezing and sniffing so I did 30 minutes of bodyweight training instead of a 4th trip to the gym. Didn't want much to eat either so green was easy.
Laughter Girl, my mom.taught me to make cornbread when I was 9. It was delicious.

Ugh! Monday gets a bad name from days like today. The blower motor went out on my husband's Honda this morning and the battery died on daughter's VW. Oh, and my back up who is supposed to have done most important stuff didn't touch anything while I was on vacation. Sigh...0 -
