This sickness has left me in a really weird place with food. Nothing sounds good. My mind is a complete blank about what normal meals look like - it's frustrating. It's nice to not be hungry, but I feel like I've swung too far in the other direction.0 -

@Laughter---I am pretty sure that I am no longer contagious, however my energy level is still drained. I certainly would not say that I am back to 80% of normal "good". Today the hubby finally was taken over by the germs, Dr says Flu...no surprise. I am hopeful that having it once will mean we will all be stronger immune if we encounter it again. A horrible little bug. With hubby on day 1 of contagious, we will be opting out of family gatherings --I guess that means no travel and some extra rest days...but it stinks to miss out.0 -

Today was a strength training day. It was only 20 minutes, but I gave it all I had.
R_Queenie - You poor thing. I feel sorry for the entire household. I would hate to miss out on the family gatherings too, but you all certainly need that rest. Try to take it very easy in the coming days so that you all will recover as quickly as possible. Hang in there.0 -

R_Queenie: the flu this year is terrible and I am sorry that your family has it. I hope you all get well soon. It does stink to miss holidays with family. (Since you sound like you want to go. I am so over my MIL. She blew off my son's birthday today and my daughter's on Sunday. I'm hoping she blows off Christmas, but think my FIL will draw the line at that.)0 -

If not, maybe you and hubby need to have a chat with her and explain why it is important for her to be there for her grandchildren.
