While I still believe that HRM's are better than fitness trackers, there's no denying fitness tracker's popularity and smartphone functionality.

For those looking for a budget friendly fitness tracker, I ran across a deal today. Amazon is selling a new fitness tracker for $15.00 (normal price $79.99). This is a new product and won't be released until 12/20, but if you have Amazon Prime you should receive it before Christmas. I just ordered one myself, even though I don't have a smartphone yet - LOL!

Anyway, here's the link to the item:

Merry Christmas, everyone! o:)

    Thanks for sharing Marty!!

I just went through the Amazon Question/Answers.

From what I can gather, you need a device with 4.3 Android or an iphone.

The Android App has not been released yet...supposed to be released soon.

Darn, this won't work on my Asus tablet...as it's a 4.2.2 Android and I don't have a smartphone or iphone :\ It also will not work on Kindle Fire HD.

No computer application yet. They are working on getting other ways to connect with the tracker.

You also pay $12 per year to purchase their Mobile App. After the first year, when you renew, you will receive another complimentary fitness tracker. :D

The tracker is supposed to last for about 2 years.

Here is the link to the Question/Answers. Be sure to check it out to make sure this Tracker will meet your needs.
