Torn -- should I keep my Charge or not?

Love, LOVE, LOVE my fitbit one -- Love that it is tucked away and no one see's it! There isn't much I don't love BUT I like new things! Charge is new
Picked one up today and it isn't horrible on my wrist (not a bracelet lover).
I have found that it tracks when I am NOT moving. We went out for supper and as we sat at the table it recorded over 100 steps while my One didn't move not 1 step.
Now maybe it is because it is new and it will take some getting use to or I am just destined to stick with the One.
I have about 16 hours to decide if I want to take it back or not.
Help me decide
I ended up getting a small so it feels a little snug but the lady at the store said it needs to be more fitted then loose.
It cannot go in the water so I have to take it off to do dishes? Wash my daughter's hair etc?
Right now there is about 230 steps difference between the 2 and I am assuming it synced from my previous account since I have only been wearing the charge for about 3 hours.
I love the caller id, clock/day and I am assuming I will love the sleep feature but is that enough to suck up a bracelet that I have to remove several times a day.
Would love to hear your feedback!

I have a Flex, not the Charge, and I get "steps" in the shower from moving my arms. But I don't care—all that matters is the accuracy of my Fitbit burn (aka TDEE).
I've lost the weight & kept it off by trusting my Fitbit. Why not give the Charge a try before you make up your mind? But if it really, really bothers you, return it. (I only ever take my Flex off to charge.)0 -
I'm having a hard time with this too I have a zip and got the charge hr. There are pros and cons to it for me the charge hr isn't picking up all the steps it should ie grocery shopping only half my steps, zumba picked up less than my zip. However I love the sleep feature, hrm, and overall I'm looking for it to be consistent so I figured I'd keep it awhile longer before making a final decision.0

Steps don't matter nearly as much unless you have step goals you feel the need to be totally honest in.
What's the calorie difference for that meal time between 100 steps and 1 step?
And no, it doesn't improve. That would require the device to know what is correct and incorrect and start improving it's ability - but it doesn't know correct.
Since steps are calories though, it may make a difference.
What's the calorie difference between 230 steps?
In the scheme of 2000-2500 calorie burn daily, it may be less than 5% for the day.
Then again, depending on your average movements daily that get logged as steps but aren't - the TDEE may be way off because of those extra steps.0
