Recovery how to use and what for??

It's a cool-down period for your heart. If you use the recovery option, Digifit will keep track of how many bpm and what percentage your heart slows down in the two minutes after your workout. The general idea is the higher percentage you recover (i.e., slow down), the fitter your heart is.
This may be cheating... I've found that my heart rate slows significantly more if I bend at the waist during the recovery period. Gravity helps take a load off the heart.
