In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your short term goals.

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.
2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.
3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

    My Goals for the Week:
    1. Water - 10 bottles daily
    2. Workouts - 2 days a week weights, 2 days a week water workouts
    3. Sleep - in bed by 9:30pm nightly
    4. Check-in on our Group - Daily!

    Thank you Ladies for keeping the thread up and running last week, you all are AWESOME!!! I wrote a post yesterday but clicked on something and it was gone. :( Then I didn't feel up to rewriting it all. sigh

    Happy Monday! It is a new week and a time to renew our resolve.

    Hearts! Thanks so much for getting us started and your dedication. Great goals this week. I know you can work on the sleep thing.

    Goals 12/29-1/4
    1. 8 glasses of water
    2. Log 4 days
    3. Exercise 3 days

    Okay ladies lets just do this

    Thanks for getting us started Hearts and Forestrose. This has been the first holiday season in many years when I haven't gained weight. I credit this group for some of that. This week we are having a New Year's Eve party and then 8 people will be staying with us from 1/1 thru 1/4 (husband's family). So I will do the best I can to get some exercise but goals will be reasonable.

    Log all food
    6 glasses of water daily
    Exercise at least 3 times

    Well I already blew it on the 'daily' part. lol But I'm checking in now! :)
    Not sure how much water I got in yesterday but did drink quite a bit of it.
    Gonna spend some time over where I volunteer to clean up and straighten and put things out while we're closed. It's only a few degrees here so decided not to go swimming. lol Although I'll be working over there in a basement...so....... working in my coat and mittens I should say. lol Brrrr
    Trying to get enough sleep in, having a bit of trouble sleeping the 2nd half of the night with knee pain being a bit worse. Well, maybe not worse, just very different than it was. Might be from doing the weights? I know I have to do them (and love doing them!) to strengthen above and below my knees and every where else. But I think I let a bit too much time fly by in between sessions.. my knees might be letting me know that.

    New Years Eve Check-in
    1. Getting lots of water in
    2. A couple of days in the week left for my workout goal..
    3. Still plan to be in bed by 9:30pm tonight. Trying to stick to a scedule and write a few 2015 goals down on paper before bed.
    4. Check'n in on my Warrior Peeps tonight! xo's

    Hi ya :)

    Not sure how familiar any of you are with the bookmarks MFP is now using on the main forums and NOW they seem to be working on the groups. HOORAY! I have the Intro thread checked and this current thread checked on here at the moment as well as a few I'm following on the forums. You click the star at the top of the page of whatever you want to bookmark (you can unclick it at anytime you're done as well). The bookmark feature allows you to know when a new post is up. On the lower left hand corner of the screen you'll see a user name and the area the new post is coming from.

    I just noticed the groups have been fixed since I saw Forests post notification pop up on my screen at the bottom. They are working on group issues now so that's good to see they are starting to take time to make sure we're up and running properly.

    So anyhow...some of you may be familiar with this but wanted to share in case this is all foreign to you. :)

    Any questions...feel free to ask!

    More water
    More sleep

    Hey our group has been around awhile now, mini-goal challenges vs. resolutions... our group will be around all year long. ;) I understand what you're saying about the word 'resolutions'.

    I've got your water covered Forest! lol I think it's seriously time for me to move water off my weekly goal list. LOL Time for me to add something a bit harder for me. Fortunately for me I love my water and it's not a push for me to get it in. It's when I'm eating less than stellar I try hard to drink much much more. My Sister makes fun of me because I tell her water is magic, it's forgiving when you eat extra sodium etc. Well for me it is, maybe that's just something that works for me. I dunno know but wave the Magic Water Wand and lets keep the week going! ;)

    Karen, how's it going? Oh just glancing up at your post I see you've still go company until Monday...hope to see you then on the new thread. xo

    Love sent to all the rest of the Sisters ...miss you all, hope to see more of us as the year continues. They are in the midst of adding group access to the app so we'll see if that effects some of the members that we started out with. But hey if not... we got one another and together we are Strong Warriors! xo

    I'm back from the beach and ready to get back to business with healthy habits and weekly goals as of today ( although I will wait til the new week's thread starts to post fresh goals)

    Hey Kids! ;)

    Gonna start a new thread for Monday....I'll post the link here when I set it up. :)


    Everyone OK with going back to posting the new thread for Sunday through Sat. next week? Of course as always it's everyone's personal choice which day they prefer to start out their week S or M on the thread.

    I just wanted to have the thread up and available for those that prefer starting out their week on Sundays and also anyone out of the US checking in that's ahead of us in time.

    I'll try and keep on top of this better..but absolutely anyone is free to start out the new thread as always. Thanks so much for those of you that have jumped in and done that
    when others of us were elsewhere. <3

    Just give me a heads up if anyone has an objection... :)
