    My motivation was to get off high blood pressure medication and to develop some active habits. I started slow, making changes that I could live with. Taking the time to learn about nutrition and my body - wanted to make sure what I was doing was best for me, learning to listen to my body.

    I admit there was a very hard period, when changes were happening but they weren't pretty or easy. Take your time, except bad meal choices or bad days of poor choices, try to learn what triggers binges or snacking and just keep looking forward.
